MISSION
Crimean Tatar Foundation USA represents the interests of the Crimean Tatars — the autochthonous nation of Crimea (Ukraine) — in the international community. We advance the political, legal, and cultural standing of our nation through scholarship, documentation, and direct engagement with international bodies, universities, and government partners. We act as a bridge between the Crimean Tatar nation and the global institutions responsible for human rights, atrocity prevention, and the rule of law. Our work restores, strengthens, and projects Crimean Tatar identity, culture, and language on the world stage, and ensures that the history and current struggle of our nation inform policy, scholarship, and public understanding at the highest levels.
Two nations. One shared strategic interest: the deoccupation of Crimea, restoration of rights to self-determination of Crimean Tatars and the restoration Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
VISION
A future in which the Crimean Tatar nation exercises its full and permanent right to self-determination in Crimea, recognized as an equal partner by the international community, Ukraine, and the institutions that govern the rules-based order — with its national institutions and universities restored, its nation secure on their ancestral land, and its history recognized a defining chapter in the record of nations who survived attempted destruction and rebuilt themselves by their own hand.
